Voter Registration Weeks
This October, we are partnering with The Civics Center to provide all students who are eligible the opportunity to register or pre-register to vote during the school day. Did you know that teens as young as 16 can pre-register to vote? And that minors who will be 18 by the next election can vote in that election's primary?
Two high schools will be participating in this year's Voter Registration Drive: George Wythe and Fort Chiswell. If you are a student interested in volunteering, the deadline for signups is October 2nd. Reach out to a WSU representative or member to sign up, spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
